Prior to joining Levy Firestone Muse, Ms. James served as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of New York. In this role, she litigated the New York Attorney General’s enforcement action against a national not-for-profit organization.

Ms. James began her legal career at Davis Polk & Wardwell, where she advised financial institutions, public companies, and individual defendants in connection with a wide range of government enforcement actions, internal investigations, and civil litigation matters.
