Associate
Justin A. DiCharia is an associate with Levy Firestone Muse.
Prior to joining Levy Firestone Muse LLP, Mr. DiCharia litigated complex cross-border disputes and advised clients on regulatory compliance issues as an associate at Squire Patton Boggs. While at his previous firm, Mr. DiCharia represented a foreign unincorporated association in a $600 million lawsuit, which the court dismissed for lack of jurisdiction on the basis of a novel constitutional theory asserted by Mr. DiCharia’s team. Mr. DiCharia has extensive experience in jurisdictional discovery issues, and has worked on appeals of constitutional and statutory issues in the U.S. Second Circuit Court of Appeals.
Additionally, in an administrative action for unpaid wages, Mr. DiCharia obtained a favorable judgment for a single mother who had not been paid minimum wages or overtime for more than a year of employment.
Mr. DiCharia graduated first in his class at Louisiana State University’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center. Before law school, he reported at the Louisiana Statehouse for the Manship News Service, covering higher education, the state budget and state hospital funding.
Mr. DiCharia is a member of the District of Columbia bar.
