Zachary Blau is an associate and a member of the firm’s litigation and investigations practice groups.
Mr. Blau practiced law as an associate at Jenner & Block LLP and clerked for Chief Judge Beryl A. Howell of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. Mr. Blau also served as Senate Judiciary Committee staff and then as special counsel to US Senator Patrick Leahy, during the impeachment trial of President Donald J. Trump.
Mr. Blau received his J.D. from Yale Law School, where he served as an executive editor of the Yale Law and Policy Review. As a law student, Mr. Blau was a member of Yale’s Clinic on Civil Liberties and National Security. He graduated with honors from Wesleyan University and has a master’s degree in philosophy and public policy from the London School of Economics.
He is a member of the Maryland and District of Columbia Bars and is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.
